Upon arrival, officers found that husband and wife, 33-year-old Gary Gene Gillette and 24-year-old Stephanie Gillette, had been murdered in their home as they slept. On Sunday, December 15, 1985, officers were dispatched to the 4800 block of Sweet Brian Circle. The Coral Springs Police Department will utilize these funds to purchase equipment to increase officer safety and efficiency of services provided by the department and on National Incident Based Reporting System (NIBRS) compliance related training for administrative personnel.Investigators with the Corpus Christi Police Department’s Homicide Unit are requesting your help to discover any new information that will help catch a murder suspect, with this Corpus Christi Crime Stoppers Crime of the Week. The Coral Springs Police Department is eligible to receive $17,765.00 in grant funding through the Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant (JAG) program from the Department of Justice. The grant funds are allocated by the Florida Department of Law Enforcement and can be utilized for law enforcement programs and activities. The 2021 Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant is a formula grant based on each municipalities’ crime statistics.
